RE: Bunkhouse class A
dbbic, for those of us looking at purchasing a bunkhouse, would you be able to share the pricing you were able to obtain along with the various options you ordered? Did you come close to the 30% off of MSRP that $4+/gallon gasoline seems to be pushing dealers to offer? Thank you for any insights you may have.
By the way, that floorplan looks awesome! Were you able to get a solid sliding door between the bedroom and the bunks?
RE: Bunkhouse class A
Sorry--bad reference in the sort macro--it should be corrected now. The revised spreadsheet can be downloaded from:
http://www.speedyshare.com/280507267.html
Because it has one sort macro, macros will need to be enabled in order to use it. If you wish, you can verify the macro ("sort_rankings) is a simple sort macro by editing it.
RE: Bunkhouse class A
David, I think your spreadsheet had lots of great information. I am evaluating options for a Class A motorhome given the constraints of limited $, four children (plus one grandparent) and needing to tow a heavy (Honda Odyssey) load. I updated your spreadsheet a little adding an "overall evalation" metric and filling in a few of the blanks. There are still several fields that have "?" and "#Value!" in them.
If anyone wants to take a stab at further updates, the spreadsheet can be found at http://www.speedyshare.com/120386849.html. It is called "rvs.xlsm" and is an Excel 2007 macro-enabled spreadsheet. After changing the evaluation parameters the "Sort" button needs to be clicked to resort the motorhomes based upon the revised criteria.
